Development

The cost to the Bridges Foundation for putting one retreatant through the Bridges I program is $882. We depend on grants and donations from our benefactors to alleviate this expense, and make it possible for all who wish to attend the retreat to do so, regardless of their ability to pay. We simply ask retreatants to pay whatever amount they can afford. Some retreatants pay the full price, and others pay more or less depending on their circumstances. Other than these fees, our sole source of income is derived from donations and grants. Our development committee is comprised of volunteers who seek sources of donations and grants year-round.

Income received from such sources is used to pay our expenses for renting facilities, printing brochures, paying stipends to prayer guides, and a variety of other things. We depend on such income in order to continue to offer our various programs. The Bridges Foundation is a 501(c) non-profit corporation and all donations are tax-deductible.
