DISTINGUISHED INSTRUCTORS
Jack Callahan, S.J.
Jack entered the Society of Jesus in 1957. He received a Bachelor’s degree in philosophy and letters from Saint Louis University in 1963 and a Master’s degree in political science and a Licentiate in philosophy in 1964. He took his theological studies at the Saint Louis University School of Divinity from 1967-71. He was ordained a Catholic priest in 1970. He is currently University and Pastoral Assistant to the provincial of the Missouri Province.
Marian Love
Marian is currently Director of Lay Spiritual Formation at Aquinas Institute of Theology. She received the Certificate in Pastoral Care and an MA in Pastoral Studies from Aquinas Institute of Theology. She taught four years in the Ignatian Spirituality Program at the Manresa Retreat House in the Detroit, MI area. She has had 10 years experience in spiritual direction and guiding people thru the Spiritual Exercises. She has been a prayer guide in the Weeks of Guided Prayer for six years and spent eight years in the prison ministry. Marian is married with two adult children and one grandchild.
Hsin-hsin Huang, MSW, LCSW
Ms. Huang is pursuing her Doctoral degree in Counseling at the University of Missouri - St. Louis. She received her master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from Washington University in St. Louis in 1992. She completed a three-year post-graduate pastoral counseling and psychodynamic psychotherapy training at Care and Counseling, an ecumenical pastoral counseling center. As part of her interest in integrating psychology, spirituality, and theology, Ms. Huang also completed extensive graduate course work from Aquinas Institute of Theology and Eden Theological Seminary. She has been involved with the Bridges program since 1997. Ms. Huang has been an Adjunct Professor at Lindenwood University teaching graduate counseling courses. She practices at Provident Counseling and in private practice specializing in trauma, depression, multicultural and women’s issues. Ms. Huang has conducted workshops on spirituality, trauma, depression, and women’s issues.
